The Final Four: Who will win the Super Bowl on February 13, 2022?

The competition for the 56th Super Bowl has narrowed to four remaining teams, however predicting the champion is an extremely challenging endeavor.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the bookmakers’ favourites to win, as they attempt to claim the prestigious trophy for the second time in three seasons.

The Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl last year but were unable to overcome the Tampa Buccaneers.

The Chiefs are likely to feel confident about their chances of securing a third Super Bowl title in their history, given that the current champions were eliminated in the previous round.

They face a tough test in the AFC Championship Game as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

The winners of the match-up will go on to play either the Los Angeles Rams or the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on February 13.

We will now examine each team in more detail and evaluate their prospects for winning the Super Bowl this season.

Kansas City Chiefs

Chiefs fans around the world will be clamouring to find live NFL streams on  The Sports Today  when their team goes head-to-head with the Bengals.

The Chiefs are set to host the AFC Championship game for the fourth year in a row, demonstrating their significant presence in the NFL.

The Chiefs finished the regular season at the top of the AFC West division with a record of 12 wins and 5 losses, then went on to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 42 to 21 in the Wild Card Round.

The team required extra time to defeat the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, with Travis Kelce scoring a touchdown that sealed a thrilling 42-36 win.

The Chiefs appear to be a strong choice to defeat the Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium and are deserving favourites to ultimately win the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals secured the top position in the highly competitive AFC North by a slim margin, as their 10-7 record was barely sufficient to surpass the Steelers.

They have overcome the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans in the playoffs, advancing to the AFC Championship game, and are now looking to pull off an upset this weekend.

The Bengals can draw a lot of encouragement from their recent history with the Chiefs, winning seven out of ten matchups since the year 2000.

That run includes a 34-31 victory in Week 16 of the current season, where they had the advantage of playing at home.

Although the Bengals should not be underestimated, their opponents’ greater experience in high pressure games is likely to give them an advantage.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are considered the most significant challenge to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ambitions, although their advancement to the NFL title game is far from certain.

With a 12-5 record they secured the top spot in the NFC West and went on to easily defeat the Arizona Cardinals 34-11 in the Wild Card Round.

The Rams resisted  a stirring comeback by the Buccaneers  in the Divisional Round, edging home 30-27 to end Tom Brady’s hopes of an eighth Super Bowl success.

They are favourites to beat the 49ers in the NFL Championship Game, but the outcome of that game is far from certain.

The Rams have not beaten the 49ers in their last six meetings, and an extension of this streak would not be unexpected this weekend.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers can be considered a valuable wager to win the Super Bowl for the sixth time in their franchise history.

They ended the regular season third in NFC West with a 10-7 record before defeating the Dallas Cowboys 23-17 in the  Wild Card Round .

Their 13-10 win against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round stands out as the result that identifies them as potential Super Bowl winners.

Their winning streak now stands at six matches after beating the Rams twice this season, and their strong defense could be beneficial to them this weekend.

The 49ers will rightly believe this could be their year with the Super Bowl scheduled to take place in their home stadium, SoFi Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to win the Super Bowl, however the San Francisco 49ers have a good chance of causing an upset following their impressive win against the Green Bay Packers.
